Implementing and Perfecting Existing Protocols
Since the global pandemic created a high demand for the modernization and improvement of current sanitation processes, a group of investors through Tiger Investments joined the USP São Carlos Physics Institute to promote the creation of an unprecedented and disruptive project that would support global public health: Ester.
Ester is a sanitization module that
uses UV-C light as the basis for the sterilization and surface decontamination of garments in the workplace.
In a safe and efficient way, Ester eliminates up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria introducing a valuable instrument for decontaminating corporate spaces and ensuring compliance with sanitary protocols.
O processo de sanitização da Ester atingiu níveis de
redução microbiológica de até 99,99% dos microrganismos presentes.
METHOD & RESULTS
UVC Light and Its Sterilizing Effects
UVc light is already recognized as an important component in microbiological control successfully performing as a bactericidal and anti-viral catalyst.
The superior layer of microorganisms not only protects but is also part of their genetic material. When UVc light gets in contact with these microorganisms, it is capable of destroying the superior layer causing it to simultaneously destroy the genetic material itself.
This action makes the virus inactive and prevents it from multiplying and evolving between different environments, objects, and individuals.
SANITIZATION
Step-by-Step
Being completely oriented by voice commands, the Sanitization Process is quick and easy.
After entering Ester, the user must position themselves in the decontamination area placing their neck on the protection platform.
As soon as Ester validates its security protocol the user receives the UV light bath and is then guided to leave the unit.
